Our Past, Present and Future

NETC North Bay Campus (NETC) was established in 1990 and founded by Lawrence Stewart. The College, then called the Native Training Centre, began as a project to meet the educational needs of Indigenous people located in remote First Nation communities across Ontario. The overall objective was to provide Indigenous adult learners with the academic and life skills through on-site training to secure employment and improve their quality of life.

Today, the College aims to provide an inclusive learning environment, inviting participation of students from all backgrounds to study our campus programs offered in North Bay, Ontario.
